Peter is a Partner and head of the Commercial and Property Department. He specialises in residential site acquisition and development and associated planning work. Peter also deals with substantial investment matters and has specialist knowledge of commonhold law.
He has advised the Firm’s developer clients on sites throughout England and also acts for landowners in their disposals to developers. Notable transactions include a £13.75 million site assembly and purchase in Hertfordshire and disposal of a redundant business premises for re-development at a value of £7.1 million.
He has also acted as lead partner in the transfer of the leisure property portfolios of the London Borough of Bromley, South Lakeland District Council and Trafford Borough Council to non-profit distribution organisations.
Other recent transactions that Peter has handled include a £9 million acquisition for an investment client of a waste transfer depot, a new maintenance and access lease for 104 owners on a private residential estate, leasehold enfranchisement acquisitions in separate locations for blocks comprising 34 lessees, surrender and re-grant of leases of 34 apartments within a sheltered accommodation development, a residential development option for an independent school and a £4.25 million acquisition and disposal of a town centre brownfield residential site.
Peter is a member of Great and Little Hampden Parish Council. He also plays for two cricket teams and is a keen equestrian.
