Kirren graduated from Queen Mary University of London with an LLB honours degree. She then completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP gaining a Distinction. Kirren trained with the firm before joining the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department in February 2012, specialising in Employment and Civil Litigation.
Her recent caseload has included:-
• Unfair and Wrongful dismissal;
• Discrimination and equal pay;
• Transfer of undertakings (TUPE);
• Redundancy and business re-organisations;
• Compromise Agreements;
• Prospective Injunctive actions against employees;
• Partnership disputes;
• Contract disputes covering the supply and sale of goods and services;
• Professional Negligence Claims;
• Inheritance Act claims;
• Rent Review disputes;
• Trust disputes.
Kirren has been involved in a number of high level cases including:-
• Successfully defending an Inheritance Act claim of £2 million brought against a national charity;
• Successfully prosecuting an injunction action against an employee who had absconded with client lists and documentation belonging to the employer firm;
• Injuncting a landlord to prevent an increase in rental payments on a commercial lease on a rent review from £40,000 to £670,000
Kirren is also fluent in Punjabi and Urdu.
Outside of work she enjoys travelling, photography and has a particular interest in interior design.
